Motorcycle clothing manufacturer, Richa, has joined forces with world-renowned high-performance waterproof and breathable fabric brand, Gore-Tex, to create a range of jackets and trousers that will keep riders protected in terms of both safety and adverse weather.
Since 1956, family-owned Richa has been pushing technical boundaries and aiming to work with brands that take rider safety as seriously as they do. The company already uses Gore-Tex in a selection of its gloves, and has now been approved to use the material in a range of jackets and trousers – one of which is the Cyclone jacket and trousers.
The suit features a fixed Gore-Tex Z-Liner three-layer system, including a detachable thermal liner. There is D3O armour at the elbow, shoulder and hips, and for added protection the jacket features – as standard – a Level 1 back protector, with the option to upgrade to Level 2. The jacket comes with a 360˚ zip and the option to add braces to the trousers. The jacket has an RRP of £399.99 and the trousers have an RRP of £299.99. The trousers are available in a choice of leg lengths.
Richa Hurricane GTX gloves

The Richa Hurricane GTX Gloves, have a breathable wind and waterproof Gore-Tex insert and are made from a combination of goat leather and polyamide with tri-fleece lining. The gloves also come with Richa Gel Impact Protection as well as hard CE knuckle protectors in accordance with EN-13594:2002. For added protection the gloves have leather reinforcements on the little fingers and palm and have retro reflex technology for extra rider visibility. The Hurricane gloves fasten using an adjustable wrist strap to ensure a snug and secure fit. The Richa Hurricane GTX gloves have an RRP of £99.99.
TCX X-Tour Evo GTX boots

The TCX X-Tour Evo GTX boots feature a Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane and have a full grain leather upper construction. They feature CE certified D3O shin and heel protection, as well as a reinforced toe and heel. The boots also come with a micro-injected shift pad; a replaceable touring sole, with a specific grip area and an anatomic foot bed. To ensure a high-performance fitting system, the boots have a double-sided zip to allow a wide boot opening and an easy step in, as well as rear Velcro fastener for calf adjustments. The TCX X-Tour Evo GTX boots have an RRP of £259.99.
