Driven by the firm’s desire to recapture their World Superbike domination, and in support of their recent renewed focus and resurgent success in MotoGP, the new V4 will be a road bike evolved from the track – rather than a road bike turned racer.
Using our powers of deduction, and a rudimentary understanding of Italian, we assume that the engine will be used to power Ducati’s newest road-going Superbike – because “Stradale” is Italian for “Road”. It’s a departure from Ducati’s usual strategy, with the new V4 a road bike built on exisiting race technology – rather than the other way round.
Taking place on Thursday 7 September 2017 at 12.00pm the Marco Simoncelli Misano Circuit – we can’t wait to see the new V4 Ducati in the flesh.
