So here’s what you do when you don’t want to buy a new superbike and the raft of modern naked roadsters leave you cold… you go and buy a Street Racer ‘short-tail’ Fireblade.
Made in Italy, the bike is built from the CBR900RR Blade with customers having a choice of three engine sizes to choose from; 853, 918 and 919cc. Foolish Garage says that the bike kicks out 130bhp.

The so-called ‘Street Racer’ has had the original superbike’s fairing removed and roadster handlebars, new clocks, small, round headlight and front mudguard fitted.

A type of bespoke fitment service is also offered by the workshop with each bike taking between 60 and 90 days to be built and once the bike is complete it’s tested and ‘fine-tuned’ by ex-racers to the buyer’s spec so the motorcycle is made exactly to the rider’s specific height, weight and riding style. There’s no price given for the conversion, but given how ‘arty’ the pics are we’re betting on it not being cheap.
Looks pretty cool though.
