Marco Simoncelli stamps to go on sale.
The Republic of San Marino is issuing a special 2 Euro stamp on March 7 that will feature Marco Simoncelli.

Simoncelli died after an accident at the Sepang MotoGP round in 2011 and the stamps are being issued in what would have been his 30th year (Marco’s birthday fell on January 20).
Stefano Borasca’s signature design is the portrait of the 250cc World Champion and alongside the portrait stamps, featured on the complete sheet of stamps only, is an action image of Marco pulling a wheelie at the Brno circuit.
