Big 2016 Video: The SHOCKING moment thieves try to steal Ducati Panigale but are stopped by have-a-go-heroes

It’s been a month since we brought you this video first, but we thought it was a re-visit. Especially as most of us are soooooo bored right now. So here we go – this is a scary video of two armed thieves who were stopped by a couple of have-a-go-heroes as they tried to steal a Ducati Panigale 1199.

The attempted theft was made all the more shocking because the brave bypassers started filming the action which happened in Soho, London.

In the footage you can clearly hear the sound of a disc cutter which is being used to try to cut through a chain. Despite one of the thieves screaming: “I will kill you!” at the person filming, the pair eventually abandon the theft attempt and try to get away but are slammed into a van on their scooter.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the force was investigating the incident. He said: “Two males, a rider and a pillion passenger, were seen driving around the locations on a moped acting suspiciously.

“They attempted to steal a motorbike in Soho Square and a short while later stole a black Ducati motorbike in Manette Street. The stolen bike was later recovered. The suspects are described as white and Mediterranean appearance and aged in their 20s.”
