The 2017 pre-season is set to begin in traditional style with the Valencian post-GP test, which will take place on the 15th and 16th November and see riders debut their colours for the season ahead – including Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) getting his first taste of his new Ducati.
After December and January see the MotoGP paddock take a break, the first tests of 2017 will take place at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from the 30th of January to the 1st of February with the first official sessions of the year.

Moto2 and Moto3 will have two official tests in March, one at the Circuito de Jerez from the 8th to 10th and the second at Losail once again, from the 17th to 19th.
