The bike gets a Euro 4 compliant motor (as you’d expect) and the motor has a new fuel injection system with 10 hole injectors and a host of bits taken from this year’s SV650 including resin-coated pistons and new camshafts.
Suzuki says that there are more than 60 engine bits that have come in for work for this version of the middleweight Strom which increase mid-range and top-end power.
The bike also comes with three-stage traction control and a new exhaust to sit alongside the new 10-spoke cast wheels. The new bike’s dash is off the 1000cc version and the screen is bigger to help keep the worst of the weather off.
