Just in case there are people out there who remember (or want) something that kind of looks like a Buell, but now carries the EBR badge, the latest news from the USA is interesting.
EBR (which stands for Erik Buell Racing – when he got the company back in his hands, Buell couldn’t use the name ‘Buell’ on the bikes so opted for EBR, y’see).

Anyway, EBR says that there are some new models on the way for 2017 and 2018. In the words of the press release there’s an: “Urban street bike,” appearing next year that is: “Quick, dark and low”. In terms of 2018’s bikes the American concern is claiming that it will punt out a bike under-$10,000.
Whilst there’s no news on what either of these bikes will end up being, or indeed what will power them, it’s a fair assumption that given the limited nature of EBR’s development budget what we will end up seeing are motorcycles based around the current 1190 motor and chassis.
