Circuito de Tenerife given the green light

How do you fancy getting out to watch some MotoGP racing in the balmy year-round weather of the Canary Islands?

It’s on the cards because a new facility has been given the go-ahead.

Costing around £20m, the Circuito de Tenerife has been pushed forward with a view to F1 racing there.

But given the climate and the easy-reach of the area for no-doubt large spectator numbers, what’s the betting that once built over the proposed year-long schedule it will fall under the watchful eye of the two-wheeled Premier League?
