The Lincolnshire lad is undertaking the Land Speed Record attempt in the twin-Rocket III engine powered, 1000bhp Streamliner with Triumph. The actual record attempt is happening later this month but yesterday Martin headed out for the first practice run in the outfit. No times from the practice efforts have so far been released by the Triumph team.
Guy and the squad will need to reach speeds close to 400mph to gain the record back for the British factory.
