Guy will be practising for the record attempt at the Brayford Pool (pictured below) throughout the day. If you want to go and see him then head for Lincoln and the Brayford waterfront is clearly signposted. You can park your bike right next to the waterfront, too.
Guy will attempt to break the world record for the fastest human-powered watercraft, and will be riding two hydrofoils, one of which has been built by Lincoln engineers.
One hydrofoil, which will be used by Guy, is from the University of Lincoln with SHD, MTAG, Giant cycles & Siemens as major sponsors.
The other hydrofoil has been built by Mike Cooke from Aardvark Technologies with the propeller supplied by Rupert Wasey from Hercules Propellers.
