Tito Rabat tweets from the operating table (nothing squeamish though)

MotoGP rider Tito Rabat was forced out of the Mugello GP round at the weekend after a crash in FP3 on Saturday morning.

In the fall from the Estrella Galicia, Marc VDS bike the Spaniard had a big tumble and ended up badly breaking his left collarbone.

Last night the MotoGP rookie tweeted out this pic of him and the surgeons about to plate the break.

It might not be the usual sort of pre-operation mood in theatre at the Borgo San Loirenzo hospital but at least everyone seems up for the selfie.
