Luxury full-featured high-speed adventure touring – at a price
If we’re honest, the standard Multistrada V4 is an incredible touring bike as it is. The amazing 170bhp Granturismo V4 engine, superbike-spec chassis setup, more electronics than an Elon Musk spaceship, and lush styling makes it a winner without any bolt-ons.
But Ducati likes to go one better these days – so it’s released this outrageous Grand Tour version of the Multistrada V4 S for 2024. It takes the existing amazing base and adds a shedload of sweet sweet kit, all aimed at making super-high-performance adventure type touring even better.

Starting with the chassis, the GT features Ducati’s ‘Skyhook’ Marzocchi semi-active suspension setup, which constantly adjusts the damping and preload settings for the perfect ride, while tying in with the electronic riding mode settings and user inputs. It also has the a ‘minimum preload’ automatic lowering mode, which drops the whole bike when you stop, Easy Lift that stiffens up the damping to help riders take the bike off the sidestand when parked, and a new Autolevelling function, that keeps the bike flat and level no matter what you have on the back in terms of passenger or luggage. Smart.
Added to that is the radar-assisted active cruise control with radar sensors front and back and blind spot detection, a TPMS tyre pressure monitoring system, keyless ignition, and loads of LED lighting, including cornering headlights, and some trick auxiliary driving spotlights.
Comfort is guaranteed too, with heated grips and seats, a massive 6.5” colour TFT LCD dashboard, Bluetooth integration with your Apple or Android smartphone, matching hard side cases, and a centrestand. There’s closable air vents around the engine, a ventilated waterproof phone charging compartment, and a wide range of optional accessories, including top box, lowered suspension, different seats and screens, and loads more.
The new GT’s only handicap is the price: £23,595. That’s not a terrible premium over the standard V4 S price, currently available from £20,495 considering the kit you get. More info: www.ducati.com
