The news will be announced by Yamaha ahead of next weekend’s MotoGP round at Mugello, Italy.
That’s the news we’ve had this morning from serious Spanish sources who have outlined that the first move this weel will be an announcement that Suzuki has split from the Vinales discussions. Shortly after this Yamaha will make it’s news public. It’s as yet unclear if Vinales has pulled back from his FIVE MILLION Euro pay demands or if Yamaha has relented and decided to pay that much for the as-yet-to-win-a-MotoGP-race rider.
This will mean that Dani Pedrosa is now expected to stay with Honda as team-mate to Marc Marquez – a move which Marquez has already said – and as we reported first – that he wanted. Some corners of the paddock have Pedrosa actually shifting to Suzuki but this seems unlikely. Alex Rins is now being mentioned as a potential for the ride.
