This is Josh Day taking a huge faceplant at the end of a monster highside last weekend in Practice session three for the MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 race at Road Atlanta.

It’s quite, it’s brutal and the guy gets a massive beating up off his R1. The bit where his face is mashed into the track is enough for us, thanks very much.

So what do you reckon the injury tally was after this? Nope. He just walked away from it with nothing more than a broken thumb. Amazing.
