MoreBikes has everything crossed today for some good news about Gino Rea who was airlifted to hospital after a serious crash at the Suzuka 8-Hours over the weekend.
The former British Superbike rider was riding for the FCC TSR Honda France team in the eight-hour endurance race and crashed during practice. MoreBikes understands that the 32-year-old, from London, was treated at the circuit before being transferred to hospital by helicopter.

The last news (Sunday) was from Terry Rymer who reported “I have just had some good news regarding Gino… hospital have said that he could come off his breathing apparatus tomorrow if his temperature is steady, they can’t believe how fit and strong he is and how he is recovering”
Thoughts are with Gino’s friends and family at this difficult time as we all wait for an update.
