DUCATI teases NEW bikes for 2021

The Italian factory has announced it’ll kick off its launch season on September 30^th – and we can’t wait to see what it’s got coming for 2021.

With (at least) six new models expected, Ducati’s decided to stagger the big reveals for its 2022 bikes over a couple of months – starting on September 30^th and finishing on December 9^th. There’s a lot to get excited about this year (as always), with some cryptic themes revealed to whet our appetites.

Here’s a list of what’s coming on each day…

September 30^th – “Your everyday wonder”

October 14^th – “Mark your roots” (we reckon that’s a new Scrambler)

October 28^th – “Rule all mountains” (the new Multistrada)

November 11^th – “A new fighter in town” (most likely a new, smaller Streetfighter with a V2 engine)

November 25^th – “The evolution of Speed” (updated versions of the Panigale V4 and the V4 SP).

December 9^th – We know what’s happening here. It’ll be the new DesertX adventurer.

We’re particularly excited about the new Desert X. We saw an early concept of it at EICMA back in 2019 – but now Ducati’s getting ready to release the final, finished version to the world. Expect a completely new chassis (with a 21inch front wheel) that’s been designed with off-road riding at its heart. It’ll likely be powered by a 937cc Testastretta engine – but aside from that, we don’t know much about the new bike. We’ll just have to sit tight until the DesertX is revealed on December 9^th.
