The Japanese factory has updated two of its most iconic learner legal machines.
The big news for the Monkey 125 and Super Cub 125 is the introduction of a new, highly efficient Euro 5 compliant engine (which helps them to return an impressive 188mpg) – but aside from that there’s a handful of tweaks to help make the new machines better than ever before.

The Super Cub now gets a pillion seat and rear footpegs as standard with revised suspension to improve ride quality – and there’s also a new Matte Grey colour scheme (with red seats). The Monkey gets a new 5-speed gearbox, two stage rear shocks and a sharp Pearl Glittering Blue colour scheme.
Aside from that, things are much the same for the pair of learner legal machines which were reintroduced into Honda’s range a couple of years ago. We rode both of them at the time and were very impressed with the simplistic semi-automatic scooter and the stylish pint-sized motorcycle.
Competitively priced at £3,899 for the Monkey and £3,499 for the Super Cub, if you’re in the market for a tried and tested, well-built machine to cut through town traffic, they’re well worth a look. For more information, click HERE.
