The flippin’ excellent Suzi Perry is about to announce that she is returning to MotoGP as host of the BT Sport coverage for this year.
There’s been no official announcement as yet, but we understand that the former BBC MotoGP host is going to make some sort of statement (or BT Sport is) sometime very soon. The news has been broken by sports journalist Charles Sale and reported on the Mail Online website.
Perry hosted the bike racing on the BBC for 13 years before switching to F1 when the publicly-funded corporation lost the premier motorcycle class to BT Sport.
F1 had now left the BBC to be broadcast on Channel Four, Perry is understood to not be joining the four-wheel crew but is going back to two wheels instead.
What this means for the current team of Craig Doyle, Neil Hodgson and the rest of the MotoGP presenting crew is unclear.
