Here’s the perfect way to kick-start the new classic motorcycling year: the Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic returns to offer enthusiasts a chance to stock up ahead of a new riding season.

Hundreds of trade stands and autojumble plots will pack into the halls of Newark Showground for the two-day exhibition (9-10 January, 2016), giving visitors the chance to pick up parts, spares, tools, accessories, clothing, memorabilia and more. Club stands and private entrants will also be displaying pristine restored and maintained classic machines of various makes, models and eras.

For those seeking a bit of light entertainment, on stage chats between star guest James Whitham and compere Steve Plater will surely provide plenty of laughs. Race-ace turned TV commentator Whitham will be sharing many stories from a fruitful career which saw him win races across the world including two British championships.

Adding something a little different to proceedings will be the return of Scooter World. For 2016, two scooter halls will be part of the winter classic event comprising displays, trade and jumble and interactive attractions such as the ‘skills’ area and an Engine Rebuild competition. Former British scooter and sprint champion Norrie Kerr will be the special guest for the weekend. Scooter World will also see a special standalone charity evening on Saturday night and a charity auction on Sunday lunchtime.
