This is another new Yamaha, just launched at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show.
Called the M-SLAZ (yep, true), this is effectively the much-anticipated MT-15, a naked version of the YZF-R15. At the moment we’re being told that this is a bike just for the asian markets and it doesn’t seem particularly likely that this is going to make it to Europe, which is a shame.

Anyway, the bike gets the same 4-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, 4-valve, 149cc motor as in the R15 which makes 17bhp @ 8,500rpm and 15Nm of torque @ 7,500rpm.
The frame is the familiar Delta box item with revised, upright riding position and little in the way of wind protection.
The bikes comes in four colours; Red with black, blue with black, green with grey and all black.
Overall length is 1955mm, wheelbase is 1350mm and the bike comes with a 10 litre petrol tank.
