KTM has launched the new versions of the 690 Duke, the standard model and the high-spec R option.
Both get the same single-cylinder 73bhp, 55ft-lb motor (although that’s 75bhp on the R because it’s got an Akrapovic end can). The engine now has a balancer to make it smoother and less vibey when running.

The redline has been raised by 1000rpm and both versions of the bikes get WP suspension.
The R option has more toys and rider aids to play with including: Motorcycle Stability Control, ride mode technology, cornering ABS, lean angle sensitive traction control, top specification WP Suspension, Brembo brakes and the same TFT display as on the standard model.
Price and more information will be put up here when we get it from KTM.
