Suzuki has launched what it calls the ‘protoype’ GSX-R1000 motorcycle at today’s EICMA event at the Milan show.

There’s limited details about the bike other than Suzuki’s claims that this will be the lightest and most powerful GSX-R ever.
The factory also says that this bike will have a host of tech from the MotoGP campaign and various rider aids like Launch control and anti-wheelie options.
Although Suzuki says that this is a prototype bike the reality is that this is likely to be the 2017 GSX-R1000 and the model will be actually launched as a production motorcycle later on in 2016.
