Remember when we told you ages ago that the Blade was going to be staying the same BUT there were plans to make a ‘super Blade’ along the lines of the old RC30/45/RVF line – and today’s news that a cheaper RC213V-S is on the way adds more fuel to the fire – yeah? Remember that from a few months back?

Well, the Japanese reckon they’ve got more on this. And this is the image they’re running with.

Updated subframe, swingarm, gas-filled forks, RC213V-S style fairing and a host of tech are all present and looks like what the ‘Super Blade/RVF’ needs to compete with the like of th RSV4 Aprilia, Yamaha R1 and Kawasaki ZX-10R.
