2016 special edition Kawasaki Ninja 250R pictures.

These are pictures published by Japanese journos of the new Kawasaki Ninja 250 ABS KRT Edition – released soon to bask in the reflected glory of the WSB title-winning success by Jonathan Rea.

The photos show a newly tweaked headlight surround (although not that different) and red highlights in the fairings to add colour to the traditional green and black Kawasaki design, a la WSB ZX-10R. The model name suggests an ABS braking system, which will help the bike meet the new EU4 regulations coming into effect from the start of 2016. On this first look of the bike it doesn’t seem that much changed from the current model and retains the current bike’s 37mm forks and a lightweight, diamond shaped frame.
