Units of the R3 have an incorrectly manufactured upper triple clamp that may crack whilst riding.
Affected bikes were made between January 1, 2015 and August 31, 2015.
The recall has been filed with the NHTSA, the American organisation overseeing vehicle roadworthiness.
If you think your motorcycle may be affected the advice is contact your Yamaha dealer with your bike’s chassis and VIN numbers. Yamaha will take care of fixing your bike immediately.
