A biker has been jailed for nine months and disqualified from driving for two years after posting video of himself speeding at 153mph along Devon roads on two bikes that he’d taken out for test rides!
Ashley Dixon, 24, of Down Road, Plymouth, Devon had fitted a helmet camera to his lid before the ride. When in court he pleaded guilty to two counts of dangerous driving.

The court was told that Devon and Cornwall police saw two videos on YouTube and from those could work out that it was Dixon who was riding the bikes, a Honda Fireblade and a BMW S1000RR, in May and June.
Judge Francis Gilbert, QC, told Dixon he could not recall any other case of such extremely dangerous driving. He said: “It was a miracle nobody was killed or seriously injured, including yourself.”
The judge said he believed Dixon filmed himself so he could “show off” on the internet.
“You rode for at least five miles, and probably more, on each occasion on 1,000cc bikes which you purported to take for test drives even though you were never going to purchase them because you could not afford them,” he said. “You did it so your wildly dangerous driving could be seen by others.”
Dixon’s attorney Emmi Wilson said: “His speed crept up on him and he did not realize the full potential of the motorcycles he was riding,” Wilson said. “He is working full-time at a supermarket in Plymouth earning £130 a week and will lose his job if he goes into custody.”
Here’s the Fireblade video that landed Dixon those nine months in jail…
