Victory’s TT electric racebike nicked!

This is probably the world’s first theft of a major electric motorcycle – and it happened over the weekend.

The Victory/Brammo bike that raced in this year’s Zero TT has been stolen from the Brammo Company headquarters in Talent, Oregon, USA.

The bike bagged third place in the one lap outing in the hands of Lee Johnston (pictured below). It has been on display in the company headquarters since the event.

Brammo said that the specific time of night has yet to be determined and police are reviewing security footage for further information.

The Frame VIN is stamped #004 and there is a $1000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the bike.

You’ve got to wonder why anyone would want to steal this sort of bike though – OK, you could swap the bodywork but that’s about it. And it’s not exactly difficult to spot something like this bike being used out and about, is it?
