Knievel says he’s going to jump again.
For the first time in almost ten years, Robbie Knievel is going to jump a motorcycle over static cars.
RK is taking part in the Butte, Montana ‘Evel Knievel Days’ festival for a motorcycle stunt jump over the Red Zone Arcade. Knievel is calling this his “sober jump” as a tribute to now living alcohol free for more than 60 days and counting.
Knievel said it will be the highest jump of his stunt career. The jump will be about 25-feet high and the length of approximately 25 cars lined up side-by-side.
“When I’m at the top of the ramp it’s a talk between me and God. You know that’s the last person or God that I can talk to and it’s like will you give me some wings today. Will you fly with me? I have real tight take off so I’ll be full blast all the way off the ramp and hopefully don’t loop over or anything, come down real hard,” said Knievel.
Knievel said his jump will start at Eddy’s Motel on Harrison Avenue, flying up over the Red Zone building and landing in a parking lot.
