In April, we revealed Triumph were launching two new Tigers – the Tiger 800 XCA and XRT now, we can report they are arriving in dealerships later this month.
Taking the new Tiger 800 XRX and XCX as their respective base, the XCA and XRT come fitted with a host of extra equipment to make them the ultimate adventure partners.

Both models have at their heart the latest evolution of Triumph’s powerful torque-laden 93.7bhp 800cc triple engine, which they say delivers up to 272 miles of riding on a single tank. With ride-by-wire giving the choice of three selectable riding modes, four throttle maps, cruise control, ABS and traction control.
The road-biased Tiger 800 XRT features heated rider and pillion seats, alongside heated grips, as standard, making it a truly versatile machine for year-long riding. An uprated 650W alternator allows the rider to power more electrical accessories, while LED fog lights add an extra layer of visibility – enabling riders to see and be seen. Finishing touches to the bike include a neat CNC machined brake reservoir, an aluminium radiator guard, GPS mounting bracket and, to maximise convenience, Triumph’s Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
The new Tiger 800 XCA is, according to Triumph, the ‘top-tier of the Tiger XC family’. Featuring the same front and rear WP suspension as the Tiger 800 XCX. The XCA benefits from a similar range of additional equipment including: heated rider and pillion seats, heated grips, an uprated 650W alternator, fog lamps, GPS mounting kit, aluminium pannier rails and CNC machined foot rests.
Both bikes come with pannier rails ready to take Triumph’s aluminium luggage, handguards, a centre stand and an additional 12V auxiliary socket as standard. Added to this for the XRT are ‘Comfort’ rider and pillion seats and an adjustable screen, while the XCA comes with an aluminium sump guard and engine protection bars.
The new Tiger 800 XRT and XCA will be available in dealerships at the end of June and come with unlimited mileage and two-year factory warranty, as is the norm for all new Triumph motorcycles.
Riders taking advantage of TriStar, Triumph’s PCP product, can ride a Tiger XRT from just £115 per month, with the XCA available from £119 per month.
