Yamaha MT-25 about to be launched

We’re expecting the MT-25 to break cover anytime now. The 250cc parallel twin is, effectively, a naked version of the Yamaha YZF-R25. Because it’s going to go head to head with the Honda CB300F and Suzuki 250F there are rumours circulating that the engine will be closer to 300cc than 250 by the time is officially released.

There’s also rumours that there might be two versions of the bike launched at the same time, a 250 and a 300 – which would suit licencing laws dictated to by various capacity sizes in countries like Indonesia.

The promo video for the bikes looks pretty cool to us. These bikes should be pretty cool on the road. What do you think?
