The appeal of the Santander Consumer Finance KTM British Junior Cup RC 390 Cup has been further bolstered with a host of benefits for participants in the form of free product packages from Motorex and R&G, Metzeler tyres for race winners and the chance for two riders to go to the MotoGP™ Red Bull Rookies Cup selection process.
Open to riders aged 13-18-years old; the new race series will provide every competitor with an identical ‘Cup’ variation of the recently launched KTM RC 390. Promoted by MSVR, the series has been created to provide equal opportunity and a level playing field for emerging talent within the MCE British Superbike Championship.

Winners of each race will receive a new set of Metzeler M7 RR tyres – the control tyre for the championship – and Steve Plater, RC 390 Cup series coordinator, will also select the two best eligible riders from the championship to take part in the KTM-powered Red Bull Rookies selection event for the 2016 season.
Helping to reduce running costs for the burgeoning UK youth series run over eight rounds and 20 races, R&G – official crash protection supplier to the 2015 MCE British Superbike Championship – will provide two set of its Engine Case Covers and a Toe Chain Guard free of charge to each rider. The deal, worth over £200, also extends to a 50% discount against selected products from R&G’s RC 390 range and replacement protectors from R&G‘s paddock-based race service.
Motorex, the chosen oil of KTM, will also provide all entrants with a care package worth £223 to keep bikes performing and looking great. The kit includes essential maintenance products, including enough of its Power Synt for two oil changes, brake fluid, brake cleaner, chain lube, chain cleaner and a host of other cleaning products.
Fitted with a wide range of performance-enhancing KTM PowerParts, such as fully adjustable WP Suspension and an Akrapovič exhaust, the race specification RC 390 Cup machine costs just £6,425.00 (plus VAT) and is only available from a KTM dealer, ready to race.
The series registration costs £2100 and requires interested riders to put a deposit of £700 down to activate their inclusion for the championship at www.bsbteams.com. An available payment plan for the series fee, which also includes personal accident insurance, then requires three more payments in March, June and August. Riders registering before February 28 will also get a free second set of wheels – worth over £460.
