New Mitas C-25 & C-26 motocross tyres unveiled

New motocross tyres were the highlight of Mitas’ presence at the 50th international motorcycle exhibition INTERMOT, held in Cologne, Germany. Mitas unveiled its new C-25 (front) and C-24 (rear) tyres for use on extra-soft and muddy terrains and the C-27 (front) and C-26 (rear) tyres for use on extra-hard and rocky terrains.

“Mitas Moto has undertaken several projects this year to bring new products to customers. Through our innovations, we aim to strengthen Mitas’ position, especially on the off-road market,” said Ksenija Bitenc, managing director for Mitas Moto. “In the motocross range, Mitas has several new products that will fulfil the expectations of different riders in the motocross world.”

The all-new Mitas C-25 and C-24 tyres boast top-notch self-cleaning properties and excellent riding characteristics on sand and muddy terrains. Mitas C-25 and C-24 will be released for sale in December 2014. Other new products in the motocross tyre segment are Mitas C-27 and C-26. Their main advantages are good durability and optimal riding properties on rough terrain. These tyres will be available in November 2014. New profiles will be produced in the two most popular dimensions: 80/100-21 and 110/90-19.

At INTERMOT, Mitas also launched new tyres in the Motocross Competition range. The new tyres are C-28 and C-29 TERRACROSS designed for medium to hard terrains and C-30 and C-31 TERRACROSS for soft to medium terrains. Mitas TERRACROSS tyres will satisfy the needs of the most demanding motocross riders in the racing world. They will be available on worldwide markets in December 2014.

In the road range, Mitas is launching several new dimensions that will complete the range of the profiles MC50 and MC38. Several new dimensions will be added to the MC50 M-Racer range of tyres for young-timers. The new dimensions are: 80/100-17 46S TL, 130/80-17 65H TL and 100/90-17 55S TL.

Mitas also introduced new sizes of tyres for scooters. The new dimensions of MC38 MAX SCOOT, the front option for Honda new scooter models Vision and NSC, are 80/90-14 40P TL and 80/90-16 45P TL.
