Kit out your 4×4 with MotoTote’s BRILLIANT motorcycle carrier

We’ve just been sent details of a brilliant bit of kit from MotoTote. Essentially, its MTX Sport Motorcycle Carrier is a clever solution to allow you to transport your bike with as little hassle as possible.

Instead of having to buy a stand-alone trailer to carry your motorcycle (and if you’re in the UK – passing the appropriate test to be able to tow it) the MotoTote simply fits to your cars tow bar. Once attached to the tow bar, all you need to do is attach the loading ramp, and roll your bike up until it the front tyre locks into place, and then tie it down. Simple.

Unlike traditional trailers, the MotoTote doesn’t require special registration, inspections, or insurance, and it won’t make reversing a nightmare either. It has a total weight of 63lbs, comes with a powder-coated steel frame, and can be installed facing either way – so you can load and unload the bike from the right or left. The Mototote also has an adjustable wheelbase up to 65 inches, and it can be installed on vehicles with rear-mounted spare tyres too.

The MTX Sport model can carry bikes of up to 600 lbs, which covers you for most motorcycles (except some of the bigger cruisers on the market), and can be fitted to almost any vehicle with a suitable class tow bar.
