Furygan adds four new textile jackets to the 2017 range

Furygan has revealed four new textile jackets for the Autumn/Winter season, available in UK dealers from October. Every jacket has been developed in Furygan’s in-house R&D “Motion Lab” and features D3O protection, making each one fully CE-approved in terms of protection for motorcyclists.

Top-of-the-range

The Titan Evo (above) is Furygan’s top-of-the-range textile jacket. With styling that is unmistakeably derived from the company’s racing roots, it is made from a robust, breathable, waterproof and dirt-resistant Polyamide. There is D3O protection in the elbows and shoulder, plus additional extermal shells on the shoulders and back protector pocket suitable for the D3O level one and two protectors.

There are reflective inserts on the chest, arms and back and additional external shells on the shoulders. The jacket is adjustable at the wrists, neck, waist and arms to ensure the protectors remain perfectly placed even without the removable thermal padded lining with aluminium inserts.

The Titan Evo is waterproof thanks to the internal Polymesh lining, which is breathable and lightweight. For warmer days, it features Furygan’s Air Flow System (AFS) with vents with water repellent zips on the chest and back. An additional flap under the main front zip creates an extra barrier to the elements – a staggered design ensures a comfortable fit. There are five pockets – two outside and three inside including a net pocket for a mobile phone. Available in sizes S – 4XL, the Titan Evo has an RRP of £289.99.

The ultimate tourer

The Vulcain 3-in-1 (above) is the ultimate textile touring jacket, packed with features and designed with the most demanding riders in mind. The outer shell is a combination of three different grades of polyester, which combined with the Furygan Skin Protect lining, offers maximum abrasion resistance. There is D3O protection in the elbows and shoulder, plus additional extermal shells on the shoulders and a D3O-compatible back protector pocket.

A new-generation removable and padded thermal lining with aluminium inserts protects the rider from the cold, while a lightweight and comfortable “second skin” membrane makes the jacket breathable and waterproof.  For warmer days, the AFS Max feature allows air flow via vents with water-repellent zips. The Furygan Ski System is a waterproof skirt that prevents air from entering at the bottom of the jacket. This can be removed to reveal a full length zipper allowing connection to Furygan trousers.

Simply striking 

The Hurricane (above) is a striking new textile jacket available in four colour options – black/white, black/red, black/blue and black/white/fluro green. It has all the features you’d expect from a Furygan jacket: D3O protectors on the shoulders and elbows and a back protector pocket as well as adjusters on the waist and wrists.

There’s a waterproof insert, removable thermal padded lining and mesh panels at the armpits to ease heat dissipation. There’s a flap beneath the outer zip which creates a barrier against wind and rain and the staggered design of the two zips ensures a comfortable fit. There’s a choice between a connecting zip mounted on an elastic belt and additional snap claws for connecting to Furygan trousers.

There are neoprene inserts on the collar and four pockets – two on the outside and two inside including a net mobile phone pocket. The Hurricane is available in sizes S – 4XL and has an RRP of £179.99.

Retro syling with modern features

The Serpico (above) is perfect for those looking for vintage styling but in a textile jacket, with the ideal mix of modern design and retro aesthetics. Made from high tenacity polyester for abrasion resistance, it features a removable, thermal padded liner with aluminium inserts. The internal Polymesh technical lining is waterproof, breathable and a central flap under the main zip creates a barrier against wind and rain.

D3O protectors on the shoulders and elbows and a back protector pocket as well as adjusters on the waist and wrists. The jacket has six pockets – four outside and two inside – and adjusters on the wrists and waist for a good fit. Available in sizes S – 4XL, the Serpico has an RRP of £199.99.
