The first thing that stands out about the jacket is that it looks very nice and casual, not the usual bulky biking jacket. You could easily wear this off the bike without anyone noticing it’s a biking jacket, although they might think that you’ve hit the gym hard if you leave the shoulder protectors in.
There are four outside pockets and three internal ones (two of them in the thermal lining), so there’s enough space to carry the essentials.
The cuffs have poppers and zips to help with fitting gloves either in or outside the sleeves. There are also adjusters at collar and waist, but these have traditional buckles rather than poppers. The buckles look great but they take a while to get used to, and aren’t particularly glove-friendly.
CE-approved armour in shoulders, elbows and back help make this a practical biking jacket without compromising the retro looks. I have removed the back protector and use a separate wearable back protector instead, which fits under the jacket nicely.
Overall, this is a very stylish jacket that has more features than first meet the eye. It’s ideal for urban riding and has that cool timeless look that many jackets lack.
