    Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) safely secured his place in Q2 at the PTT Thailand Grand Prix after setting a 1:30.031 to go 0.890 quicker than second place Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar), who snatches a Q2 place from Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) by 0.002 on his final flying lap.
