The catalogue for the upcoming auction on April 13 is varied and of outstanding interest!
The star items? First and foremost, the amazing selection of the best-known, most sought-after Italian and European dirt and enduro bikes of the ‘70s, from the brightly coloured Fantic Caballero 50s to the powerful KTM GS 250 and 340. There are also rarities like the Aermacchi 125, an Ancillotti Scarab 125 and a rare Aspes Hopi, all immaculately restored. Not to mention the Zundapp GS 125, a breath-takingly elegant Ossa Super Pioneer and the stunning SWM 125 ES Silver Vase. Two ‘60s competition models, the Gilera 125 Bessone and the Beta with Nieddu tuning, stand out in all their splendour.
Naturally, there is also a section dedicated to classic Italian bikes: Moto Guzzi GTV 500, Falcone 500 Turismo, Astore 500 and Gilera Saturno Sport catch the eye amongst the quick little Rumi 125 Turismo and Junior models. Two custom bikes are particularly impressive: the tuned Moto Guzzi 1000 Le Mans and a very striking one-off based on an 850 T3. The rare, powerful Honda VFR 100 R appears alongside a Ducati Monster 620 with all the marque’s unique character. The 1935 BSA Blue Star with gleaming chrome-work and period two-tone paint is a real beauty. As always, the very collectable Piaggio Vespa 125 Primavera and P 200 E, together with the fun-loving Ciao mopeds of various series, will attract plenty of attention. Also featured will be military bikes including the BSA M20, the Matchless 350, the Bianchi 350 MT and the Moto Guzzi Superalce.
