Bike Treads Motorcycle Centre has been operating in Swindon since 1987 and we have grown to become the leading local independent sales, service, MOT, tyre and repair centre, with customers visiting from nearby counties to experience our service and charm… or maybe the coffee and a good natter about bikes!
We operate from a large purpose-built showroom/workshop premises and usually stock around 120 bikes in the showroom covering the Suzuki, Royal Enfield, Benelli, Lambretta, Royal Alloy, Sym, Keeway, F B Mondial, MGB and Hanway ranges.
Our workshop has a very skilled team and is always happy to help. We are best known for our superb while-you-wait ‘ride-in, ride-out’ tyre fitting service (which does as the name suggests) and are Wiltshire’s leading two-wheeled tyre and MOT centre.
Our workshop staff are fully trained in our showroom brand ranges. We offer full manufacturer servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and accident repair via your own insurance or McAMS (Motorcycle Accident Management Services). As well as our brands we do cater for all-model servicing and will supply and fit a vast array of accessories, performance upgrades or consumables held from within our shop or industry leading suppliers of the best and most well-known brands.
Enough about the nuts ’n’ bolts of the business…
As a team we are passionate about all things motorcycle and this is carried across in our work ethic and standard of work. When we aren’t working on bikes, we are riding them, racing them or getting stuck in the mud with them. If we look a little bruised on a Monday morning it is because we hit the dirt hard… so be gentle with us.
Being in such a great location – just five minutes from Junction 15 of the M4 and the A419 – means we have become a destination for motorcyclists just out for a ride or general look about. The coffee machine is always on and it does a mean latte! In our showroom next to all the shiny bikes we have an array of Motul maintenance products such as oils, cleaners, and lubes. There is a large selection of products from leading brands such as Quadlock, Kovix, Gear Gremlin, R&G and Bike-It along with a clothing range boasting helmets from Premier, Duchinni and LS2 with jackets, gloves and trousers from Weise, Buffalo and Duchinni.
