Massive new motorcycle luggage options drop Givi

The Italian brand, leader in the motorcycle luggage field, reveals one of the highlights of the season: new 42 and 58-litre rear aluminum cases. Targeted to the trail segment, the new Trekker Outback members join the already existing side cases and come in aluminum and matte black finishes. Extreme sturdiness and high load capacity for living endless adventures on two wheels.

GIVI’s range of luggage products keeps growing and developing in terms of safety, design and technology. The clearest example of the transalpine brand’s work is its new products: two high-capacity aluminum cases made to be fixed on the rear part of the motorcycle by means of the quick and safe Monokey® fixing system. The great amount of technical advances these new articles rely on make them ideal for carrying luggage safely through the harshest and most demanding rugged landscapes.

42 and 58 litres in aluminum and matte black finishes

GIVI has created its new cases in two sizes. The smallest version has a capacity of 42 litres, enough to store a full-face or a modular helmet and many other articles. Those who require a larger capacity can chose the 58-litre version, which allows storage of two full-face helmets and is perfect for carrying large luggage. The firm from Brescia has also made a Black line version of both cases, giving the rider multiple combination options.

The new “aluminum adventurers” join the Trekker Outback family, which so far consisted of 37 and 48-litre side cases. The rider can fit a rear case and two side ones on its motorcycle, and count on a total of up to 154 litres with the fixing of the largest Trekker Outback cases.

Great resistance, sturdiness, stability and reliability 

The components the extensive range of aluminum cases are made of provide a supreme stability and reliability thanks to being fabricated in 1.5 mm thick aluminum sheet with polymer reinforcing trims and inserts, which makes the cases totally waterproof and resistant to all types of weather. GIVI has also added a thick mat in soft material, which placed on the bottom of the case, will absorb any shock transmitted during riding, thus protecting the luggage.

Monokey® fixing system

One of the top-notch features of these new products, and what makes the whole difference compared to the rest of motorcycle cases in the market, is GIVI’s sophisticated Monokey® fixing system. This revolutionary system offers a high resistance against impacts and a great ease of use. By means of one sole key, the rider can control the opening/closing of the case as well as its fitting quickly and safely. Moreover, the dimensions of the case allow opening without removing the lid in almost any motorcycle in the market.

Multiple optional accessories

There is a vast range of optional accessories to complement the Trekker Outback rear cases, such as polyurethane backrests for the passenger (E157 or E158), an elastic carrying net or waterproof inner bags (T511 or T512). Furthermore, the cases come with a flat lid and four straps, allowing carriage of additional cargo bags on top of them.

The 42-litre case has a price of £240 (plus VAT) in its standard version and £262 (plus VAT) in its Black Line version. Meanwhile, the 58-litre case has a price of £300 (plus VAT) in its standard version and £331 (plus vat) in its Black line version.
