Using advanced, patented technology to measure the battery’s power and health, the CTEK charging system will ensure that the appropriate action is taken to maximise the power and lifetime of the battery – its unique technology means that it can safely maintain all types of vehicle battery.
The MXS 3.8 has two analysis stages that quickly identify whether the battery is capable of taking a charge and also holding charge (batteries can be revived from as low as 2v); whilst SNOWFLAKE mode, a special cold weather feature, can be selected to deliver a higher 14.7V charge to ensure a perfect charge is achieved during cold weather (below 5°C).Patented float and pulse maintenance stages ensure that batteries once fully charged can be maintained indefinitely if the vehicle is unused for an extended period without risk of over charging or under charging.
The MXS 3.8 comes with Small Battery mode too, that delivers the same seven step-approach to battery care at 0.8 amp level of charge, the perfect solution for smaller batteries found on for example motorcycles, jet-skis and ride-on mowers.
