Aldi Germany is selling THIS electric scooter for 999 Euros. It does 30mph, range is 25 miles and costs one euro per 621 miles to run.

The scooter is called the eRetro Star and is now on sale in Germany Aldi stores until June 29th – or until the stock runs out.

Normally costing 1,299 Euros, the scooter is powered by a 2000Watt wheel hub motor. it comes with the charger included in the price and takes between six to eight hours to fully charge. The smart little runner weighs in at just 75kg and can take 235kg load.

What a deal. Especially for those who just want something to commute locally on. No news about whether or not this offer will appear in the UK.
