VIDEO: Here’s the first OFFICIAL glimpse of the Ducati V4 Streetfighter (but don’t get too excited…)

So it’s nice to see that everyone is starting to lose their minds about the Ducati V4 Streetfighter – the bike we first showed you in testing guise months ago with this photo:

We then brought you these photos a couple of weeks later from DDG magazine which show the bike testing at a private track, in road guise:

Prior to those news stories we also brought you the first set of rumours that Ducati was going to run the V4 Streetfighter at Pikes Peak this year (HERE it is) AND just after that bit of headline, we also told you the Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali had CONFIRMED the bike at the Geneva Motor Show some four months ago (HERE’S that article).

And here we are then with the first official notification from Ducati that the V4 will take part at Pikes Peak which runs in the USA in a couple of weeks time. Click on the bit below to watch their few-seconds-long promo for the bike:

It’s not much – you don’t see the bike at all really apart from a look vent holes in the bike’s tail section with the camera looking at the petrol tank (a very Panigale V4 seat unit and petrol tank), and you do see the number 5 on a race plate which refers to Carlin Dunne, PP record breaker, – that’s his race number.

So here we go then, the V4 Streetfighter. Going to race at Pikes Peak. Confirmed as a 2020 bike. Nice.
