SIX-time World Champion Max Biaggi has left hospital 20 days after a huge crash that nearly killed him.
Biaggi was in intensive care for 17 days whilst undergoing an operation on a torn lung and surgery to help his 11 broken ribs heal, he also broke his collarbone in the big crash. The accident happened during an on-track Supermoto session in Italy.

The Roman has now been discharged from the San Camillo hospital in Rome and said: “I am happy, happy. I’m going home.
“I do not think that I will be returning to Monte Carlo for a a while now. What I want to do is be at home in Rome and concentrate on getting better.
“I have not yet thought about if I will return to riding yet. Maybe yes, maybe not. The important thing now is to recover.”
