The ever excellent motorcycle.com website has been checking out the Californian Air Resources Board (CARB) and has found that TWO more R nine T variants from BMW are on the way.
Called the R nine T PURE and the R nine T RACER both bike will use the same 1170cc motor and will be Euro 4 compliant.
Although there’s no documents to back up the USA journalist’s theories, they say that one of the bikes is very likely to be a proddie version of the Lac Rose concept bike – the old-style GS-type machine revealed back in June (pictured below).
Both bikes outlined in the CARB documentation are expected to be rolled out as part of the German firms’ 2017 line-up at the Cologne motorcycle show in early October.
