Here’s Harley-Davidson’s new Roadster for 2016.

This is the new Harley-Davidson Roadster – the latest addition to the firm’s Sportster range. It comes in four colours; vivid black with a charcoal denim pinstripe, black denim with a red pinstripe and velocity red sun Sunglo with a red pinstripe. The vivid black scheme will cost £9,695 and the other two will go for £9,895. There is also a two-tone billet silver/black with burgundy pinstripe which will cost £10,145.
Available from June the new bike gets new, specially-designed aluminium wheels with the front being a 19-inch and there’s an 18-inch on the rear. Tyre sizes are 120/70 R19 for the front and 150/70 R18 on the back. The bike gets 43mm upside-down forks with chunky triple clamp and cartridge damping, to up the stopping power the bike gets twin disc front brakes.
Wheelbase is 1,505mm, the bike gets a newly-shaped seat which is at the familiar height of 785mm and the overall wet weight of the Roadster is 259kg. The motor is the 1,202cc air-cooled Evolution V-twin engine with a compression ratio of 10:01, it kicks out 97Nm @ 4,250rpm.
The bike also comes with H-D Smart Security System.
