MoreBikes caught up with 52 year old Accounts Manager Wag Scott, from Sheffield. Seems she’s a bit of a fan of racing…
What Bike(s) do you ride?

Wag takes a deep breath: “Race Honda CRF250r Flat Track, Race Honda CRF125fb Flat Track, Race/Track, Husqvarna 350FC Supermoto, Race Suzuki GSXR125 Team Endurance, Road Suzuki DRZ400sm”
So, fairly into it then! What got you started with motorcycles?
“My husband rode and taught me to ride. He arranged for me to have lessons as a Christmas gift in 2003, I did my direct access on the riding school CB500 and passed my test on my second attempt in June 2004 (I fell off on my first test!) I didn’t enjoy riding and I wasn’t very good at it so once my test was passed I never rode again.
Summer 2017 we went on a banger rally to Italy and I loved that the streets were filled with people on bikes. When we got back I asked my husband if I could have a go on his bike, a 390 Duke.
We spent a Sunday on an industrial estate car park and I re-learned how to ride. A couple of days later, I picked up my first bike a 200 Duke”
Where do you like to ride, and who with?
“Every weekend I race. Me and my husband live out of a 7.5 ton truck and we travel around the country following 2 National championships in both Supermoto and Flat Track.
We are also part of a team and race the Freetech endurance series in the street stock category on a GSXR125. We completed the UK’s first ever 24hr endurance event this year as well as a 6hr at Knockhill.
I got the DRZ to ride from South Yorkshire to a women’s camping weekend in South Wales. I don’t always have a road bike as I’m not a fan of road riding (which is why I race, much safer) but I’ve enjoyed having a bike to nip around on.”
What does your two-wheel bucket list look like?
“ROSSI’S RANCH – the ultimate flat track experience! I’d love to take a supermoto on the Stelvio pass. I’ve done it twice in a car but would love to do it on a bike. Or a dirt biking trip around USA”
What do you get up to outside of motorcycles?
“I have an award winning allotment where I’ve grown most of our food for a few years now, I have a weakness for tomatoes. I’ve just given this up as me and my husband are about to move full time into our race truck and rent the house out. We will have a couple of road bikes with us and we’re gonna travel around and ride bikes”
WOW! Keep us posted on this… ML
