Kawasaki Z900RS future model – image appears in Japan

Hot on the heels of news that Kawasaki has filed a trademark for the name Z900RS, we’ve been sent this mock-up image of the bike from a top Japanese magazine.

Autoby magazine in Japan features what it thinks the Z900RS will look like on the cover of its next issue.

The bike is styled like a cross between the old Z1 and the recent looks of bikes like the XSR900 Yamaha and Honda CB1100.

We assume that some pointers to aspects of the bike like exhaust, tank and seat combination and headlights come from what the Japanese journos have heard on the grapevine – if that’s the case then the Z900RS should do pretty well in the European market.
