Leon, who’s supported the charity for over 10 years, said: ‘I had an absolute blast once again on the course this year helping to raise both money and awareness for Sparks. The event was a huge success, raising over £18,000, so I want to thank all of those who attended, sponsored the event and showed their support for such a fantastic cause.’

Leon wasn’t the only biker attending the day, other motorcycling celebrities in attendance included Moto2 racer Sam Lowes and his identical twin and World Superbike racer Alex Lowes, former Isle of Man TT winner Nick Jefferies and two-time World Superbike Champion Troy Corser.

The money raised from Leon’s day will help fund clinicians and scientists in order to find cures and treatments to help the 1 in 30 children born in the UK with a condition which may affect them for life.
